What are the requirements to host a student intern?
To host a student intern, your business must:
  • Provide a safe, supportive learning environment
  • Designate a mentor or supervisor
  • Work with TCCEED and school partners to align internship scope and fundamentals
  • Comply with any necessary background checks or liability coverage
  • We’ll guide you through the process and handle coordination with school partners.
How can I participate in a Lunch & Learn?

Lunch & Learns are scheduled, on-site sessions where partners/businesses (You) visit our local schools and student programs to explore CTE (Career & Technical Education) programs. During these events, you will have the opportunity to understand the offerings available to students and how they are leaving their high school career with ready-to-work skill sets and certifications like never before.

Who do I contact to join a TCCEED committee?
We have several working committees focused on Governance and Finance, Coordination and Communication, and Strategic Planning.

What is TCCEED doing to support local businesses?
TCCEED bridges the gap between education and employment. We:
  • Promote workforce-ready skills in high school students
  • Help local businesses find future talent

Is there a cost to participate in TCCEED programs?

Most participation opportunities are free to our business partners. Event sponsorships or in-kind support may be requested for larger initiatives. More info on each event and participation requirements can be found on the dedicated event page. 

How can I suggest a student or program idea?

You can submit ideas through our Contact Form or speak with a committee leader. We value community-led input that can create new student opportunities.
