2026 Summer Student Internship Program
About the St. Lucie Summer Internship Program
In partnership with St. Lucie Public Schools, Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County, the Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County and our 501(c)3 nonprofit, TCCEED (Treasure Coast Center for Economic & Educational Development), are coordinating a summer internship program for high school juniors and seniors.
The St. Lucie Summer Internship Program gives high school juniors and seniors the chance to step into a real workplace before graduation—so you can explore careers, build confidence, and stand out when it’s time for college, technical training, or your first full-time job.
As a student intern, you will:
-
Gain real-world experience in a professional environment while still in high school
-
Build your resume with hands-on projects and meaningful responsibilities
-
Develop career-ready soft skills like communication, teamwork, time management, and professionalism
-
Learn industry-specific skills and see what different careers are really like day-to-day
-
Connect with business mentors who can guide you, coach you, and help you grow your network
-
Get paid for your time thanks to a program stipend provided by an anonymous donor
-
Prepare for what’s next—future classes, certifications, interviews, and job opportunities after graduation
